We have an opening to join our committed and friendly team in this successful Village Hall.
Caretaker – 10.5 hours per week £ 10.50 per hour (Mon, Tues, Thurs & alternate Wednesdays) plus extra hours at weekends and evenings. Some on-call duties, holiday cover will be required. The main tasks are: –
- Setting up for classes/events
- Carrying out basic running repairs, including grounds maintenance,
- General cleaning and using floor buffing machinery.
- Liaising with service users, including show rounds when necessary
- Carrying out risk assessments, stock control, weekly and monthly compliance checks
Basic DIY skills are essential, IT skills beneficial but most important is the ability to work alone and as part of a small team. Flexibility, initiative and having a sense of humour are vital too.
